Summer Cocktails
Patio Punch
A flavorful batch of punch will keep the party going, and is easy to prepare beforehand. The sweet strawberry and tangy citrus flavors mingle together for a refreshing cocktail.
Ingredients: 1 ½ cups light rum, ½ cup Navan vanilla cognac, 3 oz. amaretto, 1 ¼ cups water, 1 cup strawberries, 1 ¼ cups sugar, Fresh lime juice, 1 ¼ cups lemon juice, ½ lb. fresh strawberries, 1 bottle chilled prosecco.
Directions: Bring water to a boil, add strawberries and sugar, lower to medium heat and stir occasionally for five minutes. Strain and add a touch of lime juice to make flavors pop. In a punch bowl, combine all ingredients except prosecco. Pour into ice-filled glasses; top off with prosecco. Guests will want more than one glass; you’ll have enough for seconds!
Orange and Ginger Cup
The exotic flavor of Kabosu juice and herbal notes of gin create a unique cocktail inspired by Eastern flavors. Ginger gives the concoction a slight kick.
Ingredients: 2 oz. fresh kabosu juice (or mix equal parts regular 0range and grapefruit juices), ¼ oz. honey syrup (2 tbsp honey whisked with 2 tbsp water), 3/4 oz. fresh ginger syrup (1 tbsp water mixed with 1 tbsp sugar, and ¼ tsp grated ginger, strained), 2 oz. gin, Slivers of orange peel
Directions: In a cocktail shaker, shake all ingredients with ½ cup ice. Strain into a glass filled with ice, and garnish with slivers of orange peel. Add one large ice cube; it will melt slowly, and the drink won’t get diluted. Serves one.

Ingredients: 1 red plum, pitted and sliced (reserve one slice), 1 ½ oz. lime juice, 1 oz. simple syrup, 2 oz. vodka, Tonic water, Sea salt
Directions: Place plum slices in a cocktail shaker, and muddle or smash with a wooden spoon. Add lime juice, syrup, and vodka, then shake with ½ cup ice. Strain into glass with fresh ice. Top with tonic water and garnish with a plum slice; sprinkle sea salt on top just before serving.
Lemon Dill Mary

Ingredients: 1 ½ oz Belvedere Bloody Mary, 1 oz. peppercorn syrup, 1 oz. lemon juice, 4 heirloom cherry tomatoes, 6 pieces chopped celery, 2 sprigs of dill (one for garnish)
Directions: Add the lemon juice, peppercorn syrup, cherry tomatoes, celery and dill to the mixing tin. Muddle contents. Add the Belvedere Bloody Mary. Add ice and shake vigorously. Strain into iced Collins glass. Garnish with dill sprig and lemon wheel.

Ingredients: 1.5 oz Hennessy, 0.5 oz Frangelico, 0.75 oz 70% chocolate & stout reduction, 0.25 oz agave nectar, 0.25 oz half & half, 10 drops Blood Orange infused Olive Oil, Garnish: 0range twist.
Directions: Combine all the ingredients in a cocktail shaker. Top with ice and shake vigorously. Strain into chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with orange twist.

Ingredients: 1.5 oz 1800 Silver tequila, 0.75 oz Cointreau, 1.5 oz lime juice, 1.5 oz agave nectar, Half a ripe avocado, 2-3 sprigs of cilantro, Kosher salt / celery salt, for rim, Lime wedge, for garnish.
Directions: Kosher / Celery Salt Rim: In a small bowl, mix 1 teaspoon of celery salt with 4 Tablespoons Kosher salt. Mix well. To rim the glass, wet outside of Margarita glass with lime wedge and dip into salt mixture. Set the glass aside. In a mixing glass, muddle the avocado with the lime juice and agave nectar. Add the 1800 tequila and Cointreau. Top with ice and shake vigorously. Strain into ice-filled, salt-rimmed glass.

1 (1.75-liter) bottle raspberry lemonade (we used Simply Lemonade), 1 3/4 cups coconut rum, 1 cup amaretto liqueur
Directions: Combine raspberry lemonade, coconut rum, and amaretto liqueur in a large pitcher. Stir well, and serve over ice.
